About Sandlot
Sandlot is Baseball for Everyone
When talking about Sandlot Baseball, you’ll hear about “the vibes” a lot. We care more about building the community around the game. We like having fun with everyone, no matter who they are, where they’re from, or what their skill level is. We play games and do our best, but often times you’ll hear people on the bench racking their brains trying to figure out what the inning is or what the score is…
That’s because the score and the 27 outs take a back seat to ensuring we’re all having fun playing this game that we love, and that is in the spirit of the space that Jack Sanders started and crafted in Texas.
On this page are a number of links with articles on Jacks’ background, and the way he developed his version of Sandlot ball. We encourage anyone that’s interested to dig into it a little deeper. Just know that we’re a welcoming, all-inclusive group no matter who you are and what level you play the game.
We’re happy to have you and to play by your side!
