Affectionally Aliased Ant

One of our players and great amigo, Anthony, hooked us up with this location for our home field. Calling it “Ant Field” comes out of respect for the connection that brought us a consistent ballfield to practice and play on throughout the season. The only thing asked in return was that we maintain the grounds.

As you can see from the Google maps satellite image, grass had reclaimed more than half of the infield. Our players poured a ton of effort into reclaiming the dirt over the summer, including one incredibly hot day moving over two tons of a sandy clay/dirt mix to rebuild our playing surface.

We’re very proud of our digs and appreciate the community relationship with Green Tech High that allows us to use the field. Hopefully you’re looking up the address because you’re on the way to a practice or a game, and we’ll see you out there shortly!
